Azerbaijan National Food Technology Platform aims to define strategic priorities to best utilize the potential of the food sector; the objective is to develop a short-, medium-, and long-term research and innovation agenda. Within the platform, topics such as food and health, food quality and production, food and consumption, and education and technology transfer are addressed as independent work packages. These work packages will carry out their activities in an integrated manner, in alignment with the objectives of the national food technology platform. The platform brought together the country's leading food companies, as well as prominent industry associations and universities specializing in food engineering and hygiene education, as founding members. The aim is for the platform to grow and strengthen over time through the participation of new members from the sector.
