New students from Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Food Engineering majors at the Türkiye-Azerbaijan University (TAU) are visiting Türkiye during their first year of study as part of an orientation program.
The goal of the orientation program is to familiarize students closely with the university they attend and their specific degree programs.
During this one-week, state-funded trip to Ankara and Istanbul, students tour their respective universities in person and gain a practical understanding of their academic programs.Students from TAU’s Computer Engineering program visit the METU campus, Industrial Engineering students visit ITU, and Food Engineering students visit Hacettepe University; they meet face-to-face with university rectors and faculty members and attend various classes. The orientation program also includes introducing TAU students to the university's research centers, student projects, and various specialized laboratories.
Additionally, staff from METU (ODTÜ), ITU, and Hacettepe University organize excursions to various museums and historical landmarks, allowing TAU students to make meaningful use of their leisure time.
