The authors of the project are the “NEXO” team consisting of TAU and AzTU students.
The “NEXO”
(meaning “connector”) Startup project, developed by TAU Computer Engineering
students Omar Sabzaliyev, Omar Bashirli, Industrial Engineering students
Zarangiz Ismayilova, Nihad Mammadov, Murad Niftaliyev, and AzTU Energy
Engineering and Systems Engineering students Arzu Aslanova and Mammad
Ismayilly, is a mobile application that mainly provides messaging without the
Internet. This project is designed for people suffering from natural disasters
and large festivals and concerts. The mobile application combines Bluetooth
Mesh network and WiFi technologies to provide messaging without the Internet.
The project was
submitted to the “Startup Days” innovation competition organized in partnership
with the “Startup Azerbaijan” platform at the Incubation Center of Azerbaijan
Technical University (AzTU), and the students were awarded the 3rd place.
